So this has been eating at me lately. I've started using AI tools a bit, mostly just for brainstorming and outlining, but I always write my final drafts myself. Still, I've seen posts about students getting into trouble because their work got flagged by some AI detection tool, even when they wrote everything manually. That's honestly terrifying.
Now I'm lowkey panicking that my professors might think I'm cheating even when I'm not. I'm super careful, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Has anyone found a reliable AI text detector that actually works and doesn't throw random false positives? Ideally one that's free or at least has a trial version?
Would really appreciate any advice, links, or just hearing your experience. It sucks that we even have to worry about this stuff, but here we are
